Background

PureDrive Batteries Ltd offer quality long-lasting batteries for Motorcycles, Electric Golf Trolleys, Mobility Scooters, Wheelchairs and Buggies, Mobility Aids, Leisure and Marine Applications, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and general purpose 12V and marine batteries.

Challenge

They approach ASG to design, develop and supply three sizes of battery bags for their electric golf trolley collection. PureDrive had been working with another Asian supplier, but the quality of product and service was not to their expectations. Working and communicating with ASG, a UK based supplier with many Asian factory connections suited PureDrive better, as it not only took away their stresses, but also enabled them to talk face to face with us and allow them to express their brief in a clear manner.

Solution

 The project was undertaken, the products have been designed & developed and the goods are now (at the date of this Case Study) on bulk order. Below is a picture of one developed size. We agree that they are not on-trend retail products, but from a form & function perspective – they are spot on!

PureDrive are also the Official Battery Supplier to the PGA Euro Pro Tour (www.europrotour.com), and we have new developments underway – such as a newly developed Neoprene battery bag with increased water protection function. This will be launched in 2011.
